Baptism is a declaration of one’s faith – to publicly make known of your faith in Jesus Christ. It wasn’t until Jesus was baptized in Matthew 3:13-17 that His ministry started, so baptism is significant to a believer’s faith journey. Baptism is only for believers who wish to declare their faith, this means in order to be baptized, you should have already made the personal decision that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour. If you haven’t made that decision yet, find out more about who this Jesus is and what He has done for you.

We are so excited that you want to become a member! The act of becoming a member is a public affirmation of a commitment to Christ as an active and contributing member of EastRidge Church. Why membership?

1. A Biblical reason – Christ is committed to the church.
2. A cultural reason – It is an antidote to our society. Membership “swims” against the current of our culture’s “consumer religion.”
3. A practical reason – It defines who can be counted on.
4. A personal reason – It produces spiritual growth as we become accountable to each other.

Raising up the next generation in the Lord is the calling of every parent, and we are here to support you when you dedicate your baby or child. Baby dedication is to let the church know that you are making the promise to raise your child to know the love of God.
