Welcome to EastRidge Camps 2022!

This year, we will have 6 weeks of fun, which means new themes and activities! 4 weeks for our younger age group and new this year, 2 weeks dedicated just for our Junior Highs!

All morning camps are free, so take your time to go over the details as there are additional fees for full day options depending on the camp week, age range may vary.

Junior High Weeks

Week 1: July 25 – 29

Grades 6-8

Meet up at local Parkettes

Let’s hang out play games and sports.  Bring your friends for a couple of hours of fun.  There will be snacks, giveways, games and sports.  Parkette schedule below:

Mon – Rupert Park – 1-3pm
Tues – Byers Pond Park – 1-3pm
Thursday – Barbara Reid Park – 1-3pm
Friday – Harry Bowes Public School – 1-3pm

**Watch out for the Ice Cream Truck at Byers Pond Park – Tuesday July 26 @ 2pm; Greenwood Park (Harry Bowes PS) – Friday June 29 @ 2pm

Week 2: August 22-26

Extreme Camp – registration closed. If interested in attending, please contact the office at register@eastridge.ca

  • Time: 10am – 4pm daily*
  • $50/student

This year we are pleased to run an incredible, exciting and fun 5-day camp tailored to Jr High students.  “Extreme Camp” will challenge Jr High students creatively, physically, and mentally, as well as grow their faith to a new level.  Our final day will be an off-site “extreme” adventure day at a beautiful outdoor location. Stay tuned for more information!

*Pick-up on the final day will be 3:30pm.

Kids' Camps

Week 1: July 11-15

This week is full. No longer taking registrations.

Ages 5-11
MORNING CAMP
with full day option

VBC – Make Waves

  • Half Day option: 9:00am – 12:00pm  FREE!
  • Full Day option: 9:00am – 3:45pm – $120/wk

In the mornings, kids will learn that what they do today can change the world around them. When we put our trust in Jesus, we can “make waves” because of His Spirit living inside us. Through fun activities, engaging lessons, and God’s Word, we’ll help kids understand how they can share God’s love with the people around them.

For those that choose the full day option, we are happy to partner with Willowgrove Outdoor Education Program* for the afternoons.  There will be 3 different exciting activities each afternoon such as hay rides, stream exploration, and outdoor games.  Bussing will be provided to and from Willowgrove.

*Willowgrove OEP, is a separate program from the Overnight/Day Camp, and therefore no vaccine mandate/passport policy will apply.

Week 2: July 18-22

Week is full – No longer taking registrations

Ages 7-12
FULL DAY CAMP
each day ends at 3:30pm

Sports Camp – SU Camps

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

  • $130/week if registered by May 31, 2022
  • $140/week if registered June 1st, 2022 or after

Sports camp is all about having fun, learning core sport skills, making new friends, and growing in faith.

Suitable for all ability levels, it’s a great time for learning 3 different sports. Basketball, soccer and ball hockey are the featured sports with instructions and coaching by SU Sports Camp staff.

Bring your lunch, running shoes, and sunscreen. Every camper receives a t-shirt, water bottle, Bible and Camper Playbook.

Week 3: August 8-12

Science Camp – Basic Elements

Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
FREE!

Want to build a working rocket or mix up some slime?  Kids learn the BASIC elements of faith using the acronym – Believe, Ask, Serve, Impact, Celebrate. Science-inspired curriculum allows kids to discover amazing truths from God’s word.

End of week celebration on Friday, August 19

  • includes a BBQ – 12:00 pm-1:30 pm
  • Zoo animals will visit us – 1:30pm – 3:00pm
  • Free for families (parents please join in).
